Meet the Owner - Yasuhiko Kawabe 

Yasuhiko Kawabe has been the owner of Oral Design Boston since 2003. Yasu grew up in Japan and completed his education at Tokyo Medical Dental University of Dental Technology in 1986. Yasu became a Certified Dental Technician in ... and a Master of Dental Technology in .... He won dental technician of the year in 1993 presented by the Massachusetts Dental Society. 

He currently resides in the Metrowest with his wife, daughter, and 2 sons.

He has designed thousands of crowns and played a key role in advancing our lab's technology and workflows, including improvements in milling and 3D printing. Known for his precision and attention to detail, he has worked on the smiles of numerous professional athletes—including Hall of Famers—and most recently crafted a restoration for Celtics guard Payton Pritchard and Derrick White. Always forward-thinking, he is dedicated to expanding our service offerings and delivering exceptional results to the doctors we partner with.
