Sending a Impression

1. Check Your Impressions
Carefully inspect all impressions for accuracy and detail. Place sanitized impressions and bite registrations in a sealed biohazard bag or clean Ziploc. If you're sending models, wrap them securely in bubble wrap before placing them in the bag to prevent damage during shipping.

2. Complete the Prescription Form
Fill out and sign the prescription form, including all required details such as material selection and shade.

3. Organize Multiple Cases
If you're sending multiple cases in one box, please staple each prescription form directly to its corresponding impression or model bag. You're welcome to ship multiple cases in one box.

4. Schedule a Pickup
Arrange your UPS or FedEx pickup online. If you're new to our lab or need help setting up your shipping account, give us a call—we'll get your office registered in our system quickly. Be sure to place all case bags inside the shipping box or pouch, then affix the label securely.

5. Sending Photos
If your case includes patient photos (e.g., for shade matching or custom requests), please email them to photos@oraldesignboston.com . Include both the doctor's name and the patient's name so we can accurately match the photos to the case.

Sending a Digital Case

Oral Design Boston is fully equipped to work with all open-platform digital scan files. Our advanced digital workflow allows us to design and mill restorations with precision and efficiency. We regularly work with leading systems such as 3Shape TRIOS, iTero, 3M True Definition, Carestream, and Exocad. Use the uploader below to submit your STL files and the Rx form.
